What is a Musical Carousel?
	A Musical Carousel is a non-competitive music festival for all grade levels. Group performances are rated as Superior, Excellent and Good.

Where are the performances held?
	Performances are typically held in a school facility close to a Theme Park, a few such as Rye Playland and Great Escape may have the performances inside the Theme Park.

When are performances scheduled?
	Performances are scheduled in the morning. Following your group's performance you may proceed to the Theme Park. Performance times are scheduled on a first come, first serve basis.

What should the performance groups wear?
	Uniforms are not required. Casual clothes are encouraged so that the students may enjoy the relaxed, fun-filled atmosphere.

	There are no required selections

How long is our performance time?
	In most locations performance time is twenty minutes. A twenty minute warm-up time or is also provided.

What equipment is provided?
	Musical Carousel provides a Bass Drum & Stand, 2 Timpani, Stands and a piano. Please check with the individual site director. The Musical Carousels held inside the Theme Parks provide chairs and stands only.

How many adjudicators listen to my group?
	Musical Carousel provides two adjudicators and valuable cassette evaluation for the directors.

When do we receive our award?
	Plaques are presented immediately following the group's performance.
